Yatzy is one of the most popular and exciting dice games for 2 out of 4 players. When you understand the game rules it is quite simple and fast to play. The game is also known by many other names, such as Cheerio, Yot, Yam.
There are slight differences between each other, mainly in the scoring method and the formation of the final result, but the variations share the same logic.
The purpose of the Yatzy game is to use five dice to roll a series of combinations, each of which adds a different number of points.

Each round a player aims to throw a specific combination. He can throw the 5 dice 3 times, keeping the ones he likes on each throw. 15 rounds are played because there are 15 different combinations. In each round, points are awarded depending on the scorecard combination the player throws. The goal is to meet the requirements on the scorecard in order to achieve a different combination in each game round.
After each player throws his 15 rounds, the one with the highest score on his scorecard is declared the winner.
